Works are well underway for the creation of the new emergency link access road for Bloor Homes at East Ardsley, Wakefield, including the formation of a new bridge as shown here.

TGB have recently completed phase 1 for Precision Products of Chesterfield which included the improvement and upgrading of their reception and foyer areas, plus the creation of a new meeting room and welfare block.

Reacting to the needs of the school directly to carry out the work during the summer holidays of 2012, TGB upgraded the toilet blocks, replaced windows, built a new entrance porch and carried out alterations to reception all in time for the new term.

In our hectic summer of school refurbishments we are pleased to have carried out work at Hartshorne C of E primary school in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

Off to a flying start, we are proud to have refurbished Granville Community School’s Art block and carried out external works ready for the start of the new term.

We have just finished 5000 sq metres of reinforced concrete roadway, with associated drainage, for Elliott Hire of Nuneaton.

Within the current remodelling of the Asda Superstore in Doncaster, TGB are pleased to be involved with the new restaurant extension.

The National Geographic Adventurer of the Year 2012 opens a new building in Darley Dale built by TG Beighton.

TGB have completed the new headquarters for Peak UK Kayaking Co Ltd at Darley Dale, near Matlock.The new premises were officially opened on June 13th 2012 by Sanu Babu Sunuwar.

Babu is a long time Peak UK team member and close friend of the Peak UK team from Nepal.

In 2011 he and his partner completed the amazing adventure of climbing to the summit of Mount Everest and then paragliding to the Sea in just 42 minutes.

Babu and partner Lakpa Sherpa climbed Mount Everest, paraglided tandem from the summit to the Sun Kosi River, then kayaked 550 miles to the Indian Ocean in the Bay of Bengal. The duo broke two world records on route and were voted National Geographic Adventurers of the Year.

TGB started work in January 2012 on a new single storey utility building for Alkane at Markham Energy Park, just of the M1 Jnctn 29A. The new buidling was designed as an extension to the existing building.  All associated external works were carried out, i.e. the drainage, a new concrete yard and the duct work for the services.  The building, was completed on time and within budget in the Spring of 2012. It was fitted out and decorated and includes full under floor heating.  A new foundation has also been laid to house a new pump house.

This project, which was completed early March 2012, consisted of excavating the existing storage yard and replacing with a concrete finish plus associated drainage.  The project was phased around Veolia’s day-to-day operations and no work schedules were interrupted.
